Fleece Mitten Sewing Pattern – Children & Adults
Sew soft, warm fleece mittens for the whole family
Make comfortable, lightweight mittens for children and adults. Fleece mittens are a quick, rewarding project and a practical gift. You can also use fleece pieces left over from earlier sewing projects.
The pattern includes six sizes: children’s sizes 1–3 and adult sizes M–XL, with pattern sheets and sewing instructions. For materials gathered in advance, see the available DIY sewing kits.
Size guide
Measure hand length from the tip of the middle finger to the wrist, and palm circumference around the widest part of the hand, excluding the thumb. Choose by hand measurements; age and height are approximate guides.
- Children’s size 1: approx. age 4–6, height 104–116 cm; hand length 12–13 cm, palm circumference 14.5–15 cm.
- Children’s size 2: approx. age 6–8, height 122–128 cm; hand length 14 cm, palm circumference 15.5–16 cm.
- Children’s size 3: approx. age 8–10, height 134–140 cm; hand length 15–16 cm, palm circumference 16.5–17 cm.
- Adult M: approx. glove size 7–8.
- Adult L: approx. glove size 9.
- Adult XL: approx. glove size 10.
If your measurements fall between sizes, or you prefer a looser fit, choose the larger size.

PDF download: download the pattern and sewing instructions after purchase and print the pattern sheets yourself. No physical pattern is sent.
Printed paper pattern: the pattern and instructions are supplied on A4 sheets and delivered using your chosen shipping method.
Fabrics ordered from the factory are delivered approximately 10–14 business days after ordering. In-stock fabric remnants are usually dispatched within 1–3 business days.
